Where artificial intelligence meets the physical world.

Physical AI represents the convergence of artificial intelligence with systems that perceive, reason, interact and act in the physical world. It brings together robotics, autonomous systems, perception, simulation, embedded intelligence, robot data, evaluation and real-world deployment.

The Physical AI Convention 2026 creates a meeting point for these communities. Hosted by QuanRobotics and the AI Innovation and Research Hub at ICTU (Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology), the event connects research with engineering, academia with industry, and technical discussion with practical implementation.

Day 1 begins with the official launch of the AI Research and Innovation Hub, powered by QuanSkill × ICTU. The Hub is a long-term platform for applied AI and robotics research, student development, university-industry collaboration and international partnerships. The Convention then brings together multiple speakers and perspectives from academia, research institutions, technology companies and industry.

Hands-on Physical AI & Robotics Workshops

Day 2 is dedicated to practical engineering. In the morning, students and teachers work in small teams through a guided robotics workshop. In the afternoon, faculty join a hands-on AI workshop and a discussion on teaching, research and applied projects for the Hub.

A guided robotics workshop for students and teachers in the morning (09:00–11:30), followed by a hands-on AI workshop for faculty in the afternoon (14:00–16:30).

Is this a two-day event?

Yes. Day 1 on 14 November focuses on the AI Research and Innovation Hub launch and Convention talks. Day 2 on 15 November is dedicated to hands-on workshops.

Where is Day 1 held?

On the 5th Floor of Building C1 at ICTU, Thai Nguyen. Registration opens at 08:00 and the opening begins at 08:45. Day 2 workshop rooms will be shared with registered participants.

How many speakers will there be?

The program is designed for multiple keynote, invited, technical and panel speakers. The final lineup will be announced progressively as participation is confirmed.

Who are the speakers?

Confirmed speakers include Prof. YUE Chee Yoon (City University of Hong Kong), Prof. Vishwanath Bijalwan (Amity University Punjab), Prof. Tran Duc Tan (Phenikaa University), Dr. Anchit Bijalwan (British University Vietnam), Dr. Nguyen Van Tanh (Phenikaa University) and Mr. Satyam Mishra. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Trung Nghia, Rector of ICTU, gives the welcome address and joins Panel 1. More speakers and industry experts will be announced soon.

What happens on Day 1?

The morning is the AI Research and Innovation Hub launch ceremony: addresses, scholarship presentation and ribbon cutting. The afternoon is the Physical AI Convention: keynotes, expert talks and two panel discussions (from research lab to deployment, and Physical AI in the next decade), then networking and demonstrations.

What happens on Day 2?

A guided robotics workshop for students and teachers in the morning (09:00–11:30) and a hands-on AI workshop for faculty in the afternoon (14:00–16:30). Platform and equipment details will be published as they are confirmed.

Do I need robotics experience?

Not for all Convention activities. Day 1 is suitable for a broad research and technical audience. Each Day 2 workshop will state its own prerequisites.
